General Information

All sessions of the Congress, including exhibits, posters, and oral presentations will take place in the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel.

Registration / Membership

All attendees must register for the meeting. Register early and get the discounted pre-registration fee.  The pre-registration deadline is March 11, 2013

Workshops, $30 per session (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday)

Fellows must include a letter on letterhead signed by your Program Director indicating you are in training. Students must provide a current copy of student identification.

The Congress Non-Member registration fees include 2013 OARSI membership renewal, or new membership. The fee also includes a Congress bag, abstract supplement, all scientific sessions and poster sessions, welcome reception, and breaks.

Cancellations / Refunds

To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request with your registration confirmation and receipt card must be sent to OARSI no later than March 11, 2013. Cancellation requests received before March 11, 2013 will receive a refund less a $75 processing fee. Refunds will be processed after the meeting.  All requests received after March 11, 2013, will forfeit 100% of monies paid.


Based on the popularity of the morning workshops in the past, there will be six workshops during the 2013 Annual Congress.  These workshops will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. Attendance is limited, so register early.  A continental breakfast will be provided.  There is a separate registration fee of $30 for each workshop.

ADA accommodations will be made in accordance with the law.  If you require ADA accommodations, please indicate what your needs are at the time of registration.  We cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations without prior notification.

Certificate of Attendance, Badges, Passports and Visas

A certificate of attendance will be available for all registrants at the on-site registration desk. Badges will be available at the registration desk starting on Thursday morning, April 18. They should be worn at all Congress functions.

Participants are expected to make their own arrangements to enter the United States.

Abstract Supplement

All abstracts presented at the Congress, both oral and poster, will be published in the supplement to OARSI’s journal, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage.
